Just over 22 years ago, Pat Preston and his late wife, Patsy, started Derry Reel (named after Patsy’s home village of Derry Reel), selling shoes and dancing accessories at Feiseanna in the UK.

Sadly, Pat’s wife passed away several years ago, but Pat continued the business from his home in Basingstoke with the help of his son Vince.

Known by everyone as ‘The Shoe Men’, Pat and Vince sell and advise on a very wide range of shoes including lights and heavies, to dance trainers.
Derry Reel also sells accessories including jewellery and Irish dance music.

While Pat and Vince are familiar at Feiseanna in the UK and Ireland, Derry Reel also has a thriving export trade, selling to Dancers and Teachers in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the World.
